Our Courses

The course is divided into three orchestras that are broadly distinguished by age and playing ability, with some overlap across the three, and we offer successful applicants a place in the ensemble where we feel they will be best equipped to take part effectively, successfully and happily.

Standards indicated are for guidance only – you do not need to have taken the particular examinations.

Please note, there are no places available for flutes, clarinets or trumpets in Philharmonic and Sinfonia, and no vacancies for horns or cellos in Sinfonia.  There is only one place left on our unique Conducting Course.
